An ASL placement exam is only necessary if you are interested in testing out of beginning levels of ASL. If you choose to begin your ASL studies with ASL Level One, a placement exam is not required. You do not need an ASL placement exam before attending New Student Orientation (NSO).
ASL placement exams are conducted in real time with one ASL instructor, rather than via computer as with many other placement exams.

All students are welcome to take ASL courses.
You may register at any time to sign up for the next placement exam cycle. Please do not wait until you are ready to enroll to attempt to schedule a placement exam.

Someone will reach out to you the week before exams to schedule your time slot.

Exams must be completed before the early enrollment period begins.
Results
Results for placement exams will be released one week after all exams have been administered.
